How Design Thinking Can Help in TWP

Some TWP instructors find that the concept of “Design Thinking” is a useful one to understand and utilize as they plan and teach the course. To learn more about Design Thinking, you can start with this short introduction from the Sloan School at MIT. After that, check out PSU professor Cathie LeBlanc’s 2016 post about how she was starting to connect General Education, wicked problems, and design thinking. There is no requirement to use ideas from Design Thinking as you move into your TWP experience, but it’s worth a consideration.
